A little about me...
I'm Kayla, a 31 year old artist, conservationist and science communicator exploring ways that we can heal our planet and each other.
After finishing my degree in marine science & biology my curiosity around conservation awareness in mainstream youth culture led me down a long (still ongoing) path of truth seeking.
I completed a masters degree in conservation biology from the University of Miami, Oxford, where I was able to work with people and organizations around the world to explore conservation in action.
During my studies and the years that followed I have learned that to truly foster change, we must do so through our own daily choices and actions. It starts with me.
Since this realization I have worked to apply my knowledge of science, conservation and my passion for creativity into every aspect of my life.
I am here to share my experiences, findings, strategies and ideas with those who are interested in exploring their own personal connection to sustainable, conscious living. Let's make some waves!

do better." -Maya Angelou
